I hate school so bad, im a senior and I have no plans after hihg school. the only plan ive ever had was going into the military, my girlfriends dad is in the national guard hes a high rank and has many soilders under him and she gets upset when hes called to fight. I try to tell her thats his job and thats what he does and he odviously does it good. but shes so upset with military in general, but the thing is she herself wanted to join several months ago and go to basic over the summer. she expected me to wait at home whhile she went through training. I said of course! what good boyfriend wouldnt. I told her my only plan in life, my ONLY was to join up and come out better then I was... she said shed leave me when i went to basic..... I dont know what to do. family says follow heart but my hearts split between love and sucess

As a college student, it's bad enough that i get really confused. when i'm up at school, i tend to get feelings of missing home. but when i actually do go home, i want to go back up to school so badly, you just don't know. it's funny, cuz i get along with my parents on the phone, but when i'm home spending time with them, we usually end up in some kind of arguement. weird, huh? -Supgirlee

Why is is that some drivers just don't get it when it comes to driving with their brights? Often I am blinded by someone who refuses to dim his/her brights, even if I quickly flash my brights to let 'em know their brights are on! They ignore it! Or how about people who drive everywhere (regularly) with their 4-way flashers on...do they think they are emergency vehicles or something? Jeff

The notion that it is even remotely acceptable to use a different grammar and etiquette while communicating on the Internet than we use in everyday speech and writing is ludicrous. This pathetic excuse for a behavior code, trendily called Netiquette, is reducing and discouraging what little writing skill our sadly inadequate public education system is seeding in the next generation of communicators. So called "emoticons", or ASCII characters used to symbolize physical gestures, are being used excessively in the stead of real words and old-fashioned eloquence. Grrrr! I am sick of people saying rude things about any kind of group or music. music is a way of self expression. if you don't like some kind of music like rap or something keep it inside because just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it sucks. like someone already said on here before that theres different types of music for different types of moods. I work for an employment agency and my gripe is getting people jobs and them not showing up! They call looking for work and when we offer them a job- they don't HAVE to take it, but they do, then give some lame excuse for not going in. It's very frustrating trying to help people, and then finding out they are just total losers anyway! Then I look bad for recommending the person to the company. Someday I want to tell these people off but of course, that's not "professional". I wish people would say what they mean and mean what they say and stick to their commitments!!! ~amazed

I absolutely HATE STUPID CUSTOMERS!! I work at a pet store part time, selling fish and reptiles. Customers run in 5 minutes AFTER closing, wanting "100 CRICKETS TO FEED MY SNAKE!!" or "50 fish to put in my new tank!!" Worse, there are some who ask the most incredible questions. "Are the male bettas male or female?", or my favorite: "What's that?" (The name of the fish is WRITTEN ON THE TANK!! HELLO??) Worst of all are the inconsiderate beings who give you their "order" while you're helping another customer. So while I'm counting out 500 crickets for this one lady, some other guy runs up, says "I want three baby mice, two small rats, a dozen crickets, and twenty goldfish" and runs off, expecting me to remember that entire freaking list as I'm counting "399, 400, 401" out loud. Geez! I'm paid minimum wage too, McDonald employees get more money and more RESPECT than I do! (Isn't that sad or what?!) -anonymous

OK, I am sick of people griping about JOCKS and PREPS. OK, my b/f just happens to be a jock, and I am a prep. This is making me very angry. He does not get any more attention than anyone else. This is my third day at college. Why can't people just act like their normal selves. I don't understand why everyone is putting up a front. I can't believe what extent people go to just to make new friends and become popular. This kid, who had never drunk before, drank 9 shots of vodka yesterday, in order to fit in and be accepted by all... I purchased some popcorn 3/4 ox bag,, when I opened it there was 2 1/2 ins of popcorn. It was almost a bag of air. Very disappointed.

My gripe is the people who walk in the door at straight up 8 AM (or later) and then have to get their coffee, turn on the computer, put away the purse, and so on...And they get pissed off if you ask them to do anything before they get all that done. God forbid they should get to work a little early so they can take care of personal stuff before time to start working!! People shouldn't complain if someone asks them to actually do some work after 8 AM even if they don't have their coffee yet. I have coworkers (one is my best friend!) who make a habit of being 10 to 20 minutes late 3 to 4 times a week, and still write 8 AM on the timesheet. Come on people....get it together! Thanks for hearing me out!

I can't stand it when people drive with one foot on the gas and one on the brake. I drove for 10 miles behind someone that was doing this, and his brake lights were on the whole time. Don't people realize how annoying this is? It's as bad as driving with no brake lights at all! They must go through brake pads pretty quick.

When you fill out a form, click "submit" or "send" or anything else like that, and then they bring you to a page that says that a part of a form is wrong and you need to change that. You go back and type everything over again. I was filling out a form once where you needed to write a long paragraph, clicked 'submit' and then they told me I need to add something. babygirl_1
